Retinol Cream Instructions
Looking to reduce dark spots, smooth wrinkles, and improve skin tone for a more youthful appearance? Agelyss® Retinol Cream is what you have been searching for. With the ideal 1% of Retinol supported by a 5% concentration of the most absorbable Collagen (Soluble Marine Collagen) and 5% Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate), our formula will revitalize your skin with minimal skin irritation. This cream is specially formulated to help improve complexion, promote cellular repair, tighten and firm skin, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, restore and improve elasticity, fade hyperpigmentation, and boost collagen production for optimal anti-aging benefits.
How to Apply
Step 1: As part of your beauty routine, gently cleanse your skin and pat dry. Allow your skin to dry fully. Unlike with cleansers and moisturizers, dampness on the skin can actually interfere with retinol absorption.
Step 2: Take about a pea-sized amount of cream and start application with the forehead before spreading to the rest of the face and neck. Massage the cream directly onto the skin with your fingertips using a light touch in an upwards motion. Never stretch, drag, pull or rub the skin. Use short, light but firm strokes to blend the cream into your skin.
Step 3: Allow the cream to be fully absorbed before applying sunscreen or any other products.
When to Use
For best results, we suggest nightly use. Retinol Cream should be applied at night or with sunscreen if applying during the day. You may adjust your own personal usage to what works best for you.
Our Expert Advice
While our product contains moisturizers and beneficial ingredients to minimize irritation, you may still experience mild redness, peeling, or skin irritation. These are normal and temporary indications that the product is working. If you are new to retinol creams and skin irritation occurs, limit use to every other night or as tolerated. Once your skin has adjusted, revert to daily use.
Top Tip:
Even when using retinol cream at night, always use sunscreen to prevent future sun damage.
